Meet the Fantastic Four!!

Now this may be old news to some but I am putting these pictures up for all thiose who rely only on my site for news. That would be about two and a half people... Anyway without further hesitation, meet the Fantastic Four!

Mr. Fantastic

Invisible Woman

Human Torch

The Thing

Dr. Doom

Now as you can clearly see some of these costumes are better than others. The Invisible Woman looks good but Mr. Fantastic looks about 12 and The Human Torch looks like a failed metrosexual. And may God have mercy on those who designed the Thing and Dr. Doom costumes... I will check out the movie anyway though just to see if it will be as bad as everyone is tinking it will be.

The Incredibles
There is not a more fitting name for this movie

After hitting it big with 2003's "Finding Nemo," what could Pixar do next? They have explored the lives of monsters, shown you the lives of bugs, and made you think twice about leaving your toys out. What else could Pixar do to keep us interested? Superhero's, that is what they could do. But how could they make there superhero movie different from the big name movies such as the Hulk, X-Men 2, and Daredevil? Make it good, now that would be something different. Not to diss the other films (except X-Men 2) but this movie is just that good.

It starts out by Mr. Incredible(Craig T. Nielson, COACH) doing some routine crime fighting before he is off to marry Elastigirl(Holly Hunter). However during a routine save he saves a man who is attempting suicide. This man did not want to be saved and sues Mr. Incredible for damages. All over the world Superheros are being sued for damages and this forces them into hiding through the Superhero Protection Program.

Flash forward 15 years and we see Mr. Incredible sitting a his desk at his mediocre job at a insurance firm. He goes home and we meet his three kids Violet, Dash, and Jack Jack, all with superpowers of their own. Occasionally however, Mr. incredible goes out with his friend Frozone(Samuel L. Jackson, Pulp Fiction) and fights crime for fun. Eventually a series of events leads to Mr. Incredible to a island where he meets his nemesis Syndrome(Jason Lee, Chasing Amy). Anyway to say anymore would give away the entire movie and I wouldn't want to do that.

When this movie started I was still hyped up from the Star Wars Episode III trailer they had just shown and this movie kept me hyped. This is sort of a mock superhero movie but it becomes its own superhero movie. It has some parodies in it but it never fails to establish itself as a honest to goodness superhero movie. This is the superhero movie that DC and Marvel want to make but often fall short of. This movie is the most mature movie Pixar has put out and that is not a bad thing. When I say mature I mean some guns here and there and some violence so don't expect Mr. Incredible to drop the F-bomb or anything. I have not seen a better group of voice actors chosen for a movie in a long time. Samuel L. Jackson and Jason Lee, in the same movie? I am so there. Craig T. Nielson does a fine job and so does Holly Hunter.

In conclusion I would like to state that this is one heck of a good movie. If you are looking for a action packed movie with comedy mixed in, then this is the movie you need to see. Take the kids and take the teens with you to see this. Anyone can enjoy this movie and I mean anybody. I have come to the conclusion that Pixar can do no wrong and lets see if they can keep the streak alive with next years movie "Cars."

Final Score
5/5
